Scotty's quite right to draw attention to Jeremy Corbyn being in on the act, but I always take the Left to be applauding the collective spirit of appreciation being shown, whereas right wingers (the default position of most presenters nowadays, even on supposedly "politically neutral" shows) must by definition be applauding their individualistic inclinations, or those on bended knee before them?
