      I think Hepburn sang the cockney songs herself, but Nixon took over for the RP ones.

          On the original soundtrack albums when MN was dubbing, the other actors were generally given the credit for her singing.

            Strange indeed. In the obit piece (news channel I think) yesterday there was a lovely clip of Marnie Nixon talking about what she had to do to replicate Natalie Wood's version of a Puerto Rican accent.
