The actual link to the Polly Toynbee article is http://www.theguardian.com/commentis...mp-dead-jo-cox - and fine article it is, too.

Beneath it is a notice that Messrs Cameron and Corbyn are to appear together at the scene of Jo Cox's death and that the Tories will not contest the ensuing by-election there; see https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/...bute-to-jo-cox .

Another moving statement by the bereaved husband, Brendan, and rest of family today.

They are organising fund-raising to support three of Jo's favourite charities in a meaningful tribute to her.

The more one hears of Jo's life and the incredible dignity of her husband and family following this horrific tragedy the more one can only look on in utter awe and admiration.

                Truly humbling.

Indeed - little of the "career politician" about her; none of the sickening "public school rugger match" that stains Westminster in her approach to politics; instead a genuine interest in people and a real determination to do her very best to improve the quality of life for those in greatest need.

                    Truly humbling.

My admiration for her husband knows no bounds.
He took the children camping on Saturday night, one of the family's favourite activities, so that they could all feel close to Jo.
