    And Noughts & Crosses.

Childhood tedium conjured in a few words....
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Probably to the first and undoubtedly to the other four, although I wonder to what extent they've sought to crack themselves up while not so many others have done so.

Well I was told by Mrs ER,when I dropped her off at work this morning,to hang the washing out when I got back home because "it will dry nicely in this weather",so I put it in the drier, where it dried just as nicely and without all the faffing around with pegs and such.
        Athens,the one in Greece.
I was there in 99,dirty,smelly,clogged up with cars, you could taste the pollution, all the historic sites covered with scaffolding, maybe it's improved since then.
Eating out as in restaurants,I never really feel comfortable.

I agree, of course. It should be called the Black Danube, starting in the Black Forest area and ending in the Black Sea.
