Not true. Especially in the summer, there’s loads.

Indeed I'm aware that there are s***loads of concerts in the Albert Hall in the summer. But the bit before "loads" is what they almost invariably sound like, because the Albert Hall has a catastrophically lousy acoustic; as I've said here and elsewhere ad infinitum the thing to do would be to gut the building, keep the façade and install a concert hall inside, because it certainly isn't one now, let alone not being what it's cracked up to be.

This thread is going to get very boring if people's tastes in composers keep being brought into it. There are plenty of other threads for that. Just saying.
