    So there is, not at my instigation - two 'words'. I don't think I can alter it.....

      It's not a problem. I had to change the image three times before I could read the words, but not unusual with Captcha.
      It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

                              Yes, it looks slightly more spread out, slightly clearer.
