I'm not sure that he dresses up to be thought weird, so I doubt that he would be disppointed. I also think that it is part of his art, rather than overshadowing it (a bit more complicated than that - I think that dressing up as Claire as a girl is psychological, whereas dressing up in an outfit that includes a dress decorated with images of machine guns is part of his art).

It just didn't seem that important in the great scheme of things in typing 'his' instead of 'her' but maybe I'm just gender-indifferent. And, hey, maybe that means I'm actually 'weirder' than jean and flossie?

Are we sidelining our new forum member's topic somewhat? It does introduce her quite quickly to a familiar cast of characters in their usual roles, which some of us find a bit … weird .It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
