So OK...400th anniversary of his death but wall-to-wall ruddy Shakespeare on R3 ?
Where?
Some extracts form his work, otherwise the usual R3 output - Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th and 21st Century Music, Film Music, Jazz, drama - with a "Shakespeare" theme.

Quite. It's interesting how some people habitually rely upon what appears to pass for their imaginations when seeking to express a gripe about something just for the sake of so doing; as this particular example seems not to approve of anything "wall to wall", one might assume that the absence of roof upon his abode leaves him vulnerable to getting wet when it rains...

I loath their incessant saturation coverage.
You might have a case if it was the non-stop plays throughout the week. The point about Shakespeare is that he links both literature and music over a very long period - from his own time until the 20th (and probably 21st) century, so there is a huge range of styles. Not at all the same as wall-to-wall Schubert/Mozart/Beethoven &c.
And there have been a couple of complaints about this thread. Please discuss the issues politely
Thank you …
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

I can't say that I'm especially surprised at that; the very premise of the topic might alone give rise to at least some. To begin with, when did Radio 3 last broadcast the kind of Shakespearothon of which the OP accuses it when using the word "again"? - and how often does it do so?. Secondly, as others here have noted, "wall to wall Shakespeare" on Radio 3 is hardly what's happening right now in any case. Thirdly, some might take exception to a stance that appears to deplore any kind of "Total Immersion" on Radio 3 at any time, regardless of its subject. I submit that if you've only had a couple of complaints so far you might be doing rather better than expected!

I don't see why the views expressed in the OP should warrant a complaint to the management. If you don't agree with them the place to express such disagreement is in the thread (which you have done). A complaint is surely only justified if the post breaks the house rules or is personally offensive. I didn't see anything like that?
