    Dreadful web site - noTV

The following website, to declare one does not need a TV licence seems appalling to me - http:// tvlicensing.co.uk/noTV

No sensible way to give relevant information. Where was the user testing?

I think I found that recently. If I remember I was forced to admit that I only used my television receiving equipment (computer) for the catch-up service. There was nowhere to say I didn't watch television at all.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Our situation is that we have a flat which we are trying to sell. We almost sold it, but then the deal fell through. The web site is so useless that it doesn't allow any such details to be provided. No doubt they will keep sending letters to the empty flat, or after 6 months, if we do manage to let them know we are still trying to sell. We are hardly likely to drop by on the off chance that we'll have letters, as it's hundreds of miles away, and the selling agents are not too proactive about picking up mail either.

What the licensing people appear to have overlooked is that it's possible for an owner or responsible person to not actually live at the address for which a no TV declaration is required.

I'm happy to provide them with the information, but the website is useless.
