Maybe it more sense on a corno da caccia, or even a corno di bassetto (aka GBS).

      And now, direct from TMS:

"Reece Topley is destroying the South Africa top order and England are on the charge. It's actually brilliant captaincy from Eoin Morgan, who moves a catcher to short cover and sees Rilee Rossouw obligingly drive straight to Alex Hales. 236 is looking like a pretty decent score..."

It's conductors who mirror-conduct left handed who get my goat. There's no need for it.

Is it me, or is this Pierre Boulez honing his conducting style?

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
              Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

[QUOTE=french frank;541074]No, proper bats. Middle and leg, please. And overarm bowling! /QUOTE]

Splendid. No-one should underestimate women's (and girls) cricket. The England Women have just won their One Day International in South Africa, unlike the men's team. Anyway, tail-enders count and as you took six wickets some of them must have been some way up the order.

I see from that list that Prince William too comes under Politicians and Leaders.

Q.E.D.In spite of Captain Morgan amassing no less than 2 scintillating runs from the seven balls that he received, the England team managed to survive only forty five of their allotted fifty overs.

                      Thereby hangs a Tail.

Alternatively (skip to 57" for the relevant bit - but the others are worth watching, too).

A series of short clips showing what happened to various guests after Eric and Ernie finished with them. From the '72 Xmas Special

Still - Alpie will be pleased to see that there's no mirror conducting!

Surely they'd not be hooked on his music at that young an age!

So Captain Morgan has added another scintillating 10 runs to his pathetic total for the season!

A bit of a "Rum Choice" You might say?
