    ???

    .
The anges would say the first, but Ferney had written the first, second and third, either that or he has a fauty keyboard or is is vying with BBM for the typo of the year award.

Or from when I practised in Scotland: "I need a sick line o'er Christma' 'cos I'm no' well, no' well, no' well, no' well."

              Season's greetings to you all!

I hope that vints, who solved the last Noel, will forgive me if I kick start this season's offering.

                  A key, a king, and a root.
Three of seven: what are they?

(Volunteer work this morning, but home soon after lunch to deal with the deluge of responses.)

Unwise for someone living in York to mention a "deluge"! Any suggestion about which Letter of the alphabet we're dealing with here. Pulcie?

(I'm thinking on the lines of a sequence of "seven" works [Symphonies/Operas] "three" of which have subtitles/nicknames that correspond with the three clues. Or, possibly, one whose orchestration includes a Bass Tuber.)

Well, the last puzzle (though it was about having no L) was actually an N, so that might give a rather too obvious clue to what comes next.

I’m confused now - what letter are we working on Pulc?

The one that comes after N!

Once you do see (what the answer is) you'll realise why I'm being a bit cagey.
And there isn't a hidden clue in the word cagey!
