Must be C0NWAY TWITTY, There's no O in Glen Campbell or Billy Fury!

I had however wondered about Osman and Oscar but not found enough links for either!

I haven't understood the last few posts but I am tempted to say "The Wonder of You" (U?).

Which makes me think that there might be a Presley connection - he must have done "It's Only Make Believe" (?) - but I'm probably barking up the wrong tree.

                That's OK.

I think this is cloughers' question as I haven't tuned in to it.

The brother of Richard Osman of "Pointless" is the bassist in Suede but I'm not seeing any obvious connection to the clues there either.

Mind you, it is always worth mentioning Richard Osman.

I regard him quite highly (no pun intended given his physical height).

The lyricist of "Make Believe" from "Showboat" is Oscar Hammerstein II.

There is a character called Osman in Gretry's "Les Deux Avares".

I am not sure which is relevant.

Oscar immediately suggests Peterson and Wilde but I can't find connections between them and the other two clues.

The film Oscars have also sprung to mind as has the unlikely possibility that the Two Misers indicate two from Les Miserables.
