"A double" - Mikhail Ippolitov-Ivanov (1859 - 1935)

"some drawings" = Five Characteristic Pictures Op18 (unless there's another work you had in mind )
"bits" = Turkish Fragments Op62

... but the "almost ... undefinable anagram" is proving a tougher nut. "Finland Blue" sounds like a cheese!

I can confirm that the Mansurov recording of Mytsry on EMI Melodiya ASD2640 orchestral only, if Melodiya were into karaoke back in the sixties then that's the one to go for.
