    Erm......is the second composer Corelli?

    Concerto Grosso in G Minor?

I am not clear here but am hovering around the term Larghetto Affettuoso.

      .

... yes, the Corelli Christmas Concerto it is

The first movt of the Tartini and the last movt of the Corelli share a musical form which is also part of the title of a 19th century Italian opera, the events of which relate to an evening... and there is an aria in the opera which also shares this form....

I know it isn't Viene La Sera - this may take some time.

Oh, hold on, a title of an opera you say.

        La Sonnambula.....no, I don't think so.

Tricky. We might need the detective skills of a Montalbano for this one.

<DOH> - I got my "Vestas" and "Vespas" muddled; so enough of this faffing around

Siciliano - the dance rhythms featured in the Corelli and Tartini works, and in the Aria Mercé, dilette amiche ("Thank you, dear friends") in Verdi's I Vespri Siciliani ("The Sicilian Vespers").
