One of the things you need to do is highlight separate parts of a post, and on each of those highlighted sections click the little speech bubble icon.
Maybe Caliban will come to the rescue.
An example of what I mean is in his post 2709 on the Pedants' Paradise thread.

I think you have to tick the multi quote tab on each post you want to quote, and then use the speech bubble after highlighting the bits of text you want to quote.
      Possibly....

Now that I am back from a day's voluntary work, can you find an R to link Theocritus, Lorca, and Flash Gordon?

No, my pensions provide sufficient income.

Just had my state pension forecast through for next February, when my entitlement will start.
41 eligible years, but some contracted out.
However, the occupational pension I am already on provides sufficient income, so I feel very lucky.
(Hijacking the thread again, sorry; this should probably be on the Retirement one!)

It seems to have gone a bit quiet. Perhaps a clue is needed? The second R is probably better known for non-musical activities. The third R gives you two for the price of one.

I am not aware of any direct banana connection to the original question.

Your supposition is correct. It is not "reapers".

My progress so far has certainly been pretty grim!
                                Indeed, nonexistent.

(Sadly, Flay's multiquote still doesn't do what I want, which is the sort of thing Caliban did in his posting 2709 on Pedants' Paradise, previously referred to: namely, attributed quotes from different postings.)
