Further proof of what a great musical heritage Lexington has, but sadly irrelevant in this case!
    I hope 'What I've Done' isn't too obscure ......

Is an I required or is interest waning?

Protocol, such as it, demands that you await confirmation from the setter ......

                          Dear Sir
With reference to your enquiry (cf. above)
                          (1) I would say that interest is not waning, and
                          (2) I'm sure an I from U would be welcome!

Name an I that connects, in the twentieth century

                            A Russian's assassination

                            An Irishman's execution

                            A Welshman's death

The titles of the three works all contain the name of a person who inspired the composer to write the music. The three works begin with the same word which starts with the letter I. But I is not a person's name. Two of the works are by giants of the twentieth century. The third is by a lesser composer, but still quite well known.
