    ... no.

Three works, none of which are op. 1, by three composers.

The works all share the same name.

You might wish to ponder on what I emphasised in my hint in #3132 - it is significant.

Right - that narrows the (immediate) possibilities down to two, both of which involve Mozart, and one of which involves Haydn (six times, in fact: but none in the title) ... and (and this is what's most causing me doubt) Delius.

The other will require a bit more research ...

Mozart and Haydn, yes. Not Delius - the third composer was earlier than the others. Of the six Haydns, I think only one satisfies the requirements of the question.

              In which case, I suggest:

              Paris.
              Telemann 12 Quartets
              Haydn 6 Symphonies
              Mozart Symphony in D, K297/300a

... but your extra clue about "only one" of the Haydns is making me doubt that I've nailed it.

                ... almost there.

TWV number of the Telemann quartets is ?

                The number of Mozart's K. 297/300a symphony is ?

Which of the Haydn 'Paris' symphonies will also satisfy the criterion?

                .

Mozart's Paris symphony is no. 31 (a prime number)

three Paris works with prime numbers.

Now how do we form a Q* for the next : is it to be ferney who got the works or LMcD who found the primes??

                        .
                        * I think the rules allow Q to be by-passed au choix...

I do have an idea or two for 'Q' but ferney did the heavy lifting, so I think he has the right of first refusal.

                            I don't belieeeeve it!!!

I began thinking of Prime Numbers yesterday, but abandoned the idea when the "Capital"/"Prime" City idea occured to me!!!

I'm off out to a Piano Recital in Ilkley, so it LMcD has a handy Q it will be very conveniently placed here

A 'Q' that links Vienna, Leipzig, Hamburg, London and Moscow.

The number of cities listed could be regarded as a clue of sorts....
