Even worse, Tigre is a feminine noun, so even a male one has to be bella, I think.
Not sure how they distinguish the gender of the animal itself!

Cloughie was the first to name a piece, so as far as I'm concerned gets the honour to forge onward and upward if you're happy; I'm otherwise engaged with choir tonight and volunteer work tomorrow, anyway.

Which Blake setting were you thinking of, out of interest?
Only because I got a lucky bite (but I wouldn't like to be thought of as AA's Suarez, except as a goal poacher!). Are you an SATB or TTBB singer, Pulc?
All this procrastination as I've no clue for a U, so would not wan't to cause a bouchon if anyone else would like to be supersub I'm happy.

Second bass: see post 1090 et seq!

By the way, the gentle joshing Flay and I have is because we discovered (can't remember how) that we went to 'rival' schools in Crosby, where we both grew up (though a few years separate us).

Have had time to ponder, so here's a u for you all, if I'm not jumping anyone's gun.
Not greatly inspired, but not a great choice for this letter.

One Thomas's famously featured Richard, another Thomas's is similarly arboreally related, though green not white (two possible answers to this part!), whilst Cole's is dermatological.

Where are u (apologies for textspeak!)?

Hint: I'm not looking for a place (such as Uruguay or Ulan Bator).
I'm not into the latest SAT speak, but my word is in the dictionary as a prepostion (the use here), an adverb, and (though I'm not really aware of such a use) an adjective.

... an adjective - perhaps under-pants? under-wear, under-growth, under-cover. Or are these more prepositional? The OED has a fair few examples of adjectival uses - under lip, under blanket, under row [of teeth]....

                  Too easy!

                  Dylan Thomas: Under Milk Wood
Thomas Hardy (or Thomas Arne, to be musical!): Under the greenwood tree
Cole Porter: I've got you under my skin

So, give us a veritable Bank Holiday teaser!

Prefixes, I would say, more usual in combinations (underwear!), as you suggest!

However there is a Ray with a V which also in different ways links two conductors.
