Its the first one I can't get.
In fact I almost got queasy thinking about it.
( had to resort to a bit of googling on that, and cam up with some stuff with an appropriately marked first movement in a piece for 3 double basses....like yoi do...)I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

Yes, quasi is correct, but the Beethoven answer is not the one that is on the card, though I can see how you think it fits the bill. What sort of job might he be doing if he didn't declare the income?

MIchael Norris . Bass motives for 3 double basses. Ist Mvt Quasi cool.
Pags as above.
moonlighting for LvB, Quasi Una Fantasia.
No idea if the first is right, or what the second work in part one might be, if there is one.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

Are we still looking for the qualification ?
See subcontrabass's posting for the Michael piece I was thinking of.
So the full explanation is as follows.
Michael Tippett: Symphony No 1, Movement 1: Allegro vigoroso, quasi alla breve (a double first)
Niccolò Paganini: Caprice 24 (of 24): Quasi presto (24/24)
Ludwig van Beethoven: Sonata quasi una fantasia (Moonlight)
The 'qualification' was a sort of extra hint, as was my mention of 'daytime' (as opposed to moonlight) shift.
What was your 'motives' thought, though?
I think honours go to subcontrabass to set us the next riddle.Last edited by Pulcinella; 19-05-16, 22:42.
