Oh, 'ecki - they're all works (two operas and a "Symphony") by Kryzstof Penderecki - but that means I'll have to see what Musical connections haven't already been made for Q!

Got as far as Peter Maxwell Davies for the soundtrack to Ken Russell's The Devils, but then went out shopping (more Aldi wine required!).
Well done ferney: I'd jump the q if I were you!
I have assumed that, because this is not the Musical Association thread, not all parts have to have a musical connection.

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
I wondered that, as Pierre Mercure was a Canadian composer, some of whose music I heard when I lived over there, as including a piece by a native composer in any concert seemed compulsory in those days.
Just checked where he was born, and also where Circle du soleil came from.......
So are we talking about a province (which happens to have a city of the same name in it, though that's not the city associated with Mercure and Circle)?
(In the time taken to type, with two interruptions, I see we are indeed in Canada. Go for it mercs!)
