Sorry for the delay in responding. I have been out all day for a funeral in a large church in a small village in Wiltshire.

Sorry to hear your busy end to the week was more than

Quite right, my mistake - apologies...

Sombre, but not particularly sad. We were saying farewell to an 87 year old lady who had touched many people's lives in the course of her long life. The sad bit was burying her in a grave next to that of her younger daughter who had been killed in a road accident at the age of 19.

If no-one else wants it - I did little other than an obvious guess inspired by Sarah Lancashire. But the dubya will have to wait 'til the morn!

This W involves Anton, Ed, and a Maurice anagram for starters.

                      Anton Webern: Im Somerwind
Edward Elgar: The Wind at Dawn (aka "No More Curried Eggs for Me")
Maurice Ohana: The Tree Beaten by the Wind (from Signes)

... 'cepting that the "anagram" bit doesn't fit anywhere

I'm improving: normally when I present a hat-trick like this, somebody pipes up with "We're on Y, actually"!
