Well .... there's the famous Flower Duet in Lakme, and a flower is plucked for the heroine in Act 1 of La Source. I imagine lots of flowers would have to be plucked for a solemn procession. 3 flowery works by Delibes, the composer of 'Sylvia'.

With your kind approval - which E links a capital tourist attraction, a patent medicine and lots of animals?

The answer, my friends, is blowing in the winds (sic) .

I'm not sure whether our E ever visited this exhibition in the Marylebone Road, but he - or possibly his publisher - seems to have misspelt it in 1878.

I don't know whether I can offer further clues without effectively identifying the works concerned - oh well, let's try.
Where have the Sussexes recently been moved?
                  Got a sore throat?
Britten wrote a piece featuring the same collection of animals.
(Perhaps it might be time to give AA-II a rest?)

Not at all. AA is like a comet. There can be periods of excitement then a long time away. Be patient.

I'm up in the Alps just now, humming the Alpensymphonie whilst skiing

Having the occasional ponder ‘midst the pit heaps ..... never knew that well known E Elgar composed “Mrs. Winslow's Soothing Syrup” .....

Canada (Vancouver Island), Strepsils, and Noye's Fludde not very much associated with any E that I can think of!

... the capital attraction is Mme Tussaud's ?

                              ... the patent medicine is Beecham's ?

                              ... a work for woodwinds ??

Pulcinella - Noyes Fludde ... lots of animals.... and I said the Sussexes 'have recently been moved' ......
Anton has correctly identified Elgar as the composer in question and the cough medicine in #3312.
Vinteuil - Yes, Madame Tussaud's, but mis-spelt by Elgar.
All three works are for woodwinds.
