Are you referring to an early unfinished opera by Wagner?

            - as to the next EMinent setter pulcers did get to the city first .....

But with no real rationale (and purely by chance, thinking of a place when LMP said he hadn't been taken anywhere)!
Same with the J question really: if I'd said Iesu/Jesu I'm not sure that we would have headed to Jerusalem so soon!

Anyway: I'm more than happy to defer, as I'm off soon to volunteer work, then late afternoon into town as I have rehearsal at 6 for a charity carol concert at 7, so I won't be around much either to think or respond.

I'm quite happy to devise an 'M' , but equally happy to wait and give somebody else a chance . Or might it be better to wait until folks have fulfilled their seasonal commitments?

An 'M' to link: several birds, fewer birds and a woodwind player.

Well, the Catalogue d'oiseaux must be unbeatable for 'several', unless it's completely OTT for the word.
I keep hitting the Escape key, but I'm still here!
