            I spent much of yesterday trying to get Gardiner to fit.

            Still now I know that a film score for 2001 A Space Odyssey was composed by Alex North but never used. He only discovered that it had been rejected at the premier! Poor man!

                        It’s Christmas - scarily I had forgotten the answer and had to solve my own puzzle .... although I suspect subs had done this already .... Girton College via Jane Joseph, Timothy West and Delia Derbyshire ...

                                I think you are right!
                                I'm certainly too confused to think of any H association at present other than Hell and Handcarts.
