              So the creators (composers) were all knights, as well as their creations.

              I need something more knotty next time!

                            The only musical link I can find with 1. is the opera Violet which does not star with M.
                            Is Walker Scott, and is Anderson Ian or Jon or even Murray?

                              Sadly, the Walker isn't Scott Walker and the Anderson isn't any of the people you mention.
