Well - I didn't want to be obvious, so not the answer on the card, alas. Nor, indeed, are any of the composers you mentioned involved in the setting of/answer to this puzzle. (Although you are right to take note of the capital "C" at the beginning of the word "Cook" - it is somebody's name.)

Again, perfectly good answers, but the one on the card is a bit less general than this. And the Cook isn't John.

David Essex was born David Cook.

Just thought I would mention it.

            Tahiti!

Good job you did - he is the "Essex Cook" in question.

              Tahiti!
              Bless you.

              (Not the right answer.)

Unfortunately I have no idea if it doesn't involve the Butterworths or Tim Rice or Triumph motorbikes or That'll Be The Day or George Martin.

                    I wonder who Rozaa was?

I DO NOT OWN ANY RIGHTS TO THIS ITS PURELY BEEN PUT ON FOR ALL THE DAVID ESSEX FANS , THIS IS A RARE TUNE FROM 1971 , hope you all enjoy xxx

The Rozzas won't help you here. Perhaps he had better luck in another season?

                        Tale......A Winter's Tale.

(I could have added Tahiti Trot to that list too!)

BINGO! Right - you need to wag a couple more tales from Arthur (who is neither Butterworth nor Sullivan) and George.

No......Arthur Benjamin's Tale of Two Cities.
