The "sounds like" bit in the clue - does this mean that the word isn't identical in all three words, but has a similar sound - like "Sara, Sarah, and Tzara", f'rinstance?Numquam Satis!

There is one relevant word that isn't identical when read but it doesn't begin with an S.

I got my R4 comedy-quizes muddled: with the "less than a minute" comment, I've been wondering about Sam(antha)s - lovely and otherwise; but she doesn't keep score for Nicholas Parsons. And you can't really spell that other than with an "S".Numquam Satis!

She also notes that there is something in her name that could in the beginning be useful.
Anyway, would you like to ask me anything about the cellist?Last edited by Lat-Literal; 09-09-16, 19:25.

The cellist was born very close to Wales and the radio presenter was born fairly close to it but that is about it.
