I assume you are referring to the K-19 bit as I made the second bit up on the basis that TC was in Emmerdale.

My first thought was Michael but I can't see any obvious connection.

I'm also thinking Muppets as the only accompaniment to breakfast I can cope with now is a bit of R3 Breakfast and the fabulous Furchester Hotel.

I should have taken notice of the spelling.

The only cockerel I am (very) famiiar with is the extraordinary thing on the Dorking roundabout but Dorking is outside the Greater London area.

There is also the golden one - Rimsky - but I can't see a connection there.

I assume this isn't anything to do with the Members or Arcade Fire.

          Flay's question is helpful.

Oh......is this "Cockfosters" by Helen Simpson?

            That has a Russian connection.

              Sarf......that should be sufficient.

( see I'm seeding this with little clues all the while...and its a Russian name you are looking for....)

Erm - excuse me, but could somebody explain how they got to Mornington Crescent, please. (With particular reference to what the answer to the "R" puzzle actually is!)

It's Russia or Russians - Lenin is the cockerel in sitcom "The Good Life" set in Surbiton, "The Bells" is by Russian composer Rachmaninov and Scott is Scott Walker (song - "The Old Man's Back Again") in which he is the ghost of Stalin.

I do have a very easy S question which of all people Anton is most likely to get right but I don't know if I have got the full answer to R.

                        I don't mind who does "S".

He didn't just whistle. He could yodel too.

Actually, I haven't told Mr Corrigan and Mr Truth that I have recently bought the Rough Guide to Yodel as I've not always been complimentary about it and it would look like being too easily persuaded.

This should be solved in less than a minute.

What "S" sounds like it could link a radio presenter, a cellist and a Tyneside "poet"?

I would be happy to answer selected questions regarding the S puzzle on a yes or no basis.
