        There's also a link between the individual concerned and this country, albeit not one of nationality/birth.

          Nicolai Medtner seems to have composed three relevant piano sonatas: Op 53 No 2 (Sonata Minacciosa), Op 25 No 2 (Sonata Night Wind), and Op 56 (Sonata-Idyll).

            You have it, scb. Yep - minacciosa meaning menacing...

            And Medtner having (per latest clue) ended his days in Golders Green... at 69, Wentworth Road, to be exact
