Some years ago, my daughter was being tested for allergies and it turned out that she was allergic to most animal furs.
The doctor told her: "You'd better not have any pets with fur. You'd be better keeping fish."
My daughter hates being patronised and replied instantly: Can I have a piranha then?"

i'm sure that even non dog people such as me have enjoyed hearing of your two dogs progress since you took them on, ER.
Our two cats were rescu e cats, and it has been great giving them a Good home.

We took ours on because,insanely, black cats are hard to home because they aren't photogenic, and thus hard to find homes for.

Crazy.

I love dogs though I have a huge inferiority complex when it comes to cats ... their look of ill-disguised contempt is unmistakeable.

A wife is the most versatile of all pets. She has the nature of a cat and barks like a dog.

Well I don't agree with Gongers. I don't think that well kept cats do make a house smell of cats. Cats kept as indoor pets perhaps if litter trays are not kept clean but not otherwise.
But I guess it's all down to an individual's sense of smell and I do enjoy Sauvignon Blanc.
