    Alpie mentioned Walton. Does anyone else remember a TV interview with WW many years ago? The interviewer in an arty-farty sort of way asked, "Now tell me Sir William what is the aesthetic basis for your more recent oeuvres to become shorter and more concise?"
    "Less trouble" growled Sir W. in response.
