Glasgow Royal Concert Hall's new organ

Yes, it apparently has one, after 25 years. Slipped in very quietly, without a peep in the Herald (as far as I can see after googling), and a tour for local organists next week followed by a concert in the evening. I wonder why no fanfares? Presumably this means tweaking the sound each stop makes to create the particular sound you want, especially in combinations: rather like adjusting the colours/contrast on your TV screen to give the overall picture you want?

And Ian Tracey will have had some experience from dealing with the monster that is Liverpool cathedral's organ!
