    Seasons Greetings to all. It’s the first time in my memory that Chanukah and Christmas were this coincidental

    Let's hope for a peaceful new year. As I explained earlier I'm 'giving Christmas a miss' this year, for a change. But I hope those who do celebrate enjoy it. The weather is lovely here today, just like Spring: outdoor hyacinths well-advanced. .

      Best wishes to the R3 Forum and all who sail in her. Looking forward to 2025 with cautious hope.
      It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

            All my good wishes, too, to fellow forumites and hope you're enjoying the day in the best way possible for you. A rather dull, damp day in East Lancashire (we have ventured over the border) but a happy family gathering and excellent food and drink have ensured a sunny mood.

            Looking forward to more stimulating discussions in the coming year.

              Just watched the latest Wallace and Gromit, and were immensely amused to see signs at the border saying NO PARKIN as you entered Lancashire.
