        ... I agree. Followers of Only Fools and Horses will recall "Trigger's Broom", where the street sweeper Trigger (the wonderful Roger Lloyd Pack) receives an award from the Council for having used the same broom throughout his working life : as he explains, from time to time he replaces the handle.... and the brush.......

          It reminded me of the Cutty Sark still, apparently, moored at Greenwich despite having had a fire a few years ago. One wonders if the subsequent restoration has left any of the original ship intact.
