    Banksy vs KwikFit

I *think* we had our own local Banksy for a few days, painted on a white wall by the side of a KwikFit garage.

It was the text "Love is not dead" in written in a continuous, cursive red line, at the end of which was a little girl (in black and white) stretching up with a spray can.

A few days later KwikFit had painted it over.

sounds like your local Banksy was describing unalloyed love.

We have our local Banksy too, apparently it is the one called 'Stewy'. He painted a crosslegged Cary Grant over a shop, just round the corner from where little Archie went to school. The shopkeeper said she was delighted.

It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
