Whilst not an apologist for John Humphrys (and certainly not on any payroll for so being), I don't think that this is entirely fair; apart from the still open question as to whether he selects any or all of the issues on which he conducts interviews people and/or set all of the questions tht he poses in such interviews, I stress once again that the arguments against certain conduct of the supermarkets mentioned had already been publicised by Which? and not my Mr Humphrys and, as such, given that he was assigned to interview that person, what else could he reasonably have been expected to do other than what he did pon that occasion?

Given my stance on this, I do not accept the premise that the item concerned was as you claim it to be, although I would concede that Mr Humphrys might well argue in months to come in favour of the continuation of the BBC to which we are currently accustomed; in the meantime, would you or anyone else argue that Mr Humphrys strikes you as a worse culprit of those things of which he stands accused by some than are his Today colleagues Messrs Naughtie and Webb and Mses (if that right?!) Hussain and Montague?

Amazon is mixing things up further with Top Gear.
