Going back to Alison's point again: it's striking how few comments there are on Radio 3's Facebook page (mostly just a stream of R3 adverts). A rare exception was yesterday with the very mixed reviews for the new schedule. Will the BBC take note?

I may say that yesterday absolutely ruined this forum's Post Activity bar chart by doubling the normal number of daily posts and making them look measly in comparison. But every day we get about 100 times more posts than the mighty BBC's page with its 105k 'followers'. But then, it doesn't encourage audience comments.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Perhaps it could be repeated in the evening, which would then make it a double fault.

I think it was yesterday that the changes became really apparent. The weekday changes have been more subtle. It was very weird listening to BAL in the afternoon.

They'll be wheeling Cliff Richards out to entertain us while they take a break between movements next!

Catherine Bott & David Owen Norris' CD "London Pride: A Celebration of London in Song" has a wonderful "Wimbledon Idyll", full of witty double entendres. New balls please.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard Cliff on R3 - surely an oversight?

I couldn't possibly betray my allegiance to York in it being anything other than Francis (as I'm sure you knew!).

There's more than one Cliff Richard - that's a scary thought!

I did wonder as I typed the surname if I'd got it right!

Could go for a different analogy, although the implications of 8 Services a day are pretty horrific...
The life of the monks at Birkenhead Priory was dominated by religious ritual. Find our about the 'hours' and how the day was organised.

I have! He was on Iain Burns's sunday morning programme singing "Summer Holiday". It's taken me years to get over that.

As for the several Cliff Richards, give me the sixteen Harry Christophers any day.

I might swerve next week’s Marin Alsop edition; was never keen on her.
