Not a very constructive comment, is it? Less of the sarcasm might be helpful.
Well, I don't think that you want it to work. You're attitude from the start was quite obvious.
How come I've found Colin Davis' Mahler 1, 4, 8 and Das Lied von Der Erde in a matter of seconds? All available for streaming, naturally. I'm not that much cleverer than you.
Good heavens! Are we talking about the same thing here?
I've been using Apple Music for 6/7 days now and the user interface is really intuitive and a pleasure to use (I suppose that's ultimately down to personal experience).
I am currently listening to Turandot, Domingo, Hendricks, Karajan et al, Deutsche Gramophone (too lazy to take my copy off the shelf) and gapless playback is working perfectly. I don't know why you wouldn't have gapless playback too.
I haven't come across "based on your purchase........." options (or I've simply not noticed it) and I've found everything that I've looked for -Anthony Collins' Sibelius cycle, Karajan's Parsifal, Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax and Slayer thrash metal albums; Bob Marley Aswad, Steel Pulse - a real cross section of music.
I just did a test search for 'Solti Bartok' and a wide selection of recordings came up - quite impressive really.
Having used this service a few days now, streaming to my iPhone and thereto my car, my iPad and main living room system, I'm giving it a definite thumbs up and will most likely be paying my £9.99 when my free trial is up.
I think Apple have a winner here!
Edit: One downside is that it's making me lazy - I can't be bothered to lay my hands on my own recordings when I can just type into the Apple Music search box!
P.S. This Turandot performance is wonderful, I should play it more often. And what a great work it is, with fabulous tunes coming and going, flying in and out like no other work I know.
how on earth am I going to keep up my deeply principled non use of apple products and services if it is that good?
very irritating.
what is the best Prokfiev symphony 3 on their list?
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.
I updated my iTunes today, and in theory can now access Apple Music. It's slightly confusing though, as after clicking on the 3 months trial then a legal page comes up which has to be accepted.
Then another message comes up which asks if one still wants to buy the service (individual) at £9.99 per month. It's probably OK, but the thought of not actually getting the free trial was enough to persuade me to hit the Cancel button. Surely brighter buttons would have put up a footnote that the charges would not apply until after the third month. ???

Well rather continuing with the unnecessarily sarcastic and aggressive responses perhaps you could be more constructive and tell me how you found Colin Davis' Mahler 8 for streaming? That would be a more positive response.
And I'm not sure that you are any cleverer than I am. Or the relevance, either way. Snide remarks we can do without.

It's OK, Dave2002. Beef Oven will be along shortly to tell you how stupid you are and that he was able to understand it without any problem.
Then MrGG will post some utterly pointless and irrelevant YouTube link.
On a positive note, you are safe to sign-up to the £9.99 (I had the same reservations as you did) and once you have gone through everything simply go straightway into your settings > subscriptions > manage and delete Auto-Renewal. You will still get your free trial.

I have bored a few people before but I use Deezer and the search is weird - I am having a Diamond Day and found the 3rd symphony but only as individual tracks not as an album - makes downloading more time consuming. Other Symphonies I can only find by searching on Seattle Symphony........ It is an area streaming sites need to address IMVHO - until Beefy's Streaming Searching For Idiots comes out ......OK

If you think I'm being aggressive, you've lived a sheltered life.

Anton, just search as you would on Google, there's no more to it than that. Mahler 8 was easy to find and there's quite a few Diamond albums of symphonies on Apple Music.
Anastasius set up his own self fulfilling prophecy as per his first two or three posts, that's why he can't find anything.
