This is a forum relating to Radio 3 - not News 24, Victoria Darbyshire, or the Today programme. There are plenty of forums to discuss politics, many of which seem to accept people who like to use obscenities in an attempt to back up their arguments. The same thing happens here, so please let's discuss music instead.

If a forum is not specifically about political current events, then you are usually not allowed to talk about political current events there. Many forums not dedicated to politics have an official or unofficial ban on discussing current politics …

It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Are the giddy ones those from which that ghastly cheese is made? I'd never thought to put down their dazed state as the reason why so much goat's cheese tastes so excruciatingly horrid, but perhaps that's because I wasn't concentrating on the root cause of that problem...

I think people have been given enough time to consider the issue and have chosen not to, so I'm closing the thread.

I think you're as bad as each other! Hence the classroom seating arrangement proposed earlier...
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.

Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
