"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
Wyn Morris is the conductor, whose father was composer Haydn Morris; George Butterworth the short-lived songwriting morris dancer in some old footage; and Stephen Morris is drummer with New Order and Joy Division as well as with The Other Two, a band he formed with his partner.
I’m sure Tapiola would have been able to come up with an N in 3 days, so I’m guessing seasonal distractions may have intervened… I hope he won’t mind if I progress things with aN humble offering?
How were James, Arnold and Toru behind the times?

It looks as though I took the wrong steps in the wrong woods.
By George, I thought you'd got it on Toru and Arnold. James was elusive though.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

The reference to 'last month' in my earlier post was my (probably over-subtle) way of asking 'Is the answer November?' I, too, have found a musical James November.
That was the one who was elusive to me - after your initial contribution. A Jacques? Jaime? Giacomo? Jakob?

It looks as though I was wrong to follow Takemitsu's Steps into Bax's Woods.
No no, you were quite right!
We out-crypted one another.

Well, I'm not sure whether I fully grasped what you were after. I simply wondered whether these guys were 'behind the times' because we're now in December.
Toru Takemitsu November Steps
Arnold Bax November Woods
James November is a composer of cinematic and video games music.
'O' will be with you shortly!

‘O’ no…. … well, I guess that works…
… the first are spot-on, the ‘James’ element I had in mind was James MacMillan’s Visions of a November Spring
Nonetheless, take it away McMaestro
Edit: ah, you already did
