    He married Stanislava Brezovar...
Yes, too easy! Letting you have another go.

        From H to L in a day - wow!
        May I offer the following?
An 'L' associated with Max, Malcolm and Marek (in that order)

          You're a star, LMcD.

Could it be Max Bruch, Malcolm Sargent & Marek Janowski? Conductors for the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra?

            (Principal conductors, in fact).

I'm glad it's that, because I found another connection: Max Reger, Malcolm Arnold and Marek Kopelent all produced a Little Suite, in the right order, but the last is otherwise unknown to me, and it felt a bit tame.

Crb11 - if you fancy a go at an M, please go ahead... The more, the merrier (and I'm still struggling.)

Marek Kopelent is also new to me, and I've learned about Principal conductors

What links a conductor who was the son of a composer but not a famous one, the dancing of someone short-lived better known for his songs, and a drummer more known for his other two bands.

Thanks crb11 - this will take some thought...

Not the answer i was thinking of... I had a quick look and I can't match them up with the clues, so I'd be interested to see how they do.

Was it the father or the son who wasn't famous?

A scattergun approach clearly hitting nothing but at leastI hit on a conductor and a drummer and somebody linked, albeit in a non pc way, to song and dance!
