I have a feeling he is. My first attempt at locating Eugen Doga was (not a guitar in sight):

It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Been away and come back to an anton scorcher plus an anton poser. The festivities are truly reaching fever-pitch
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                  Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Are we still on your G then? If so, we may need a teensy clue: like Glasgow?

                            I submit that:

                            No 1 is Eugen d'Albert (1864-1932)

No 2 is Oliver Knussen (1952-2018)

                            No 3 is Craig Armstrong (1959- )

                            All born in Glasgow.

It may have seemed like witchcraft, but if you cast your eyes down to your jacket top pocket, there's a piece of paper with writing on it and ...

I do have an H - I just have to think up the questions.
