Much prefer to use my aged digits to turn the pages of a book, though probably not one by the 'philosopher' in question. I have my doubts as to whether Brenda has read any of his books either, whether in print on paper, or LCD format.

Oh, I understand it very well and I've already explained why ...

If you are dissatisfied with my explanation why don't you contact Sir Roger, your fellow-composer?

Best deal with the engineer rather than the oil-rag, eh?

In most Guest Houses, by cheque - although I'm sure some landlords/ladies are equally happy to take cash.

You mean I've actually created a pun that's flummoxed you?!
Oh, dear, it seems that you might have done exactly that!

            Not for me, at least...

Oh do try and come out of the Good Old Days of the 1950's, Mr GG!

Haven't you noticed the world has moved on a bit from crusty old moth-ridden books and wooden shelves ... ?

If you mean Sir Roger's books, I must now assume you have all of those on your very own wooden shelves, Mr GG ..?

Is that really the case ... ?

If so, I am truly and utterly appalled, Mr GG!

You would really have made such a good politician, Tippsy, having long since mastered the gentle art of never answering a question no matter how often it's asked of you!

                          Of course I do
I was wondering which of them you found the most interesting and profound?

                            This is all painfully unedifying.
