Assaulted my ears last Saturday, with a strange very heavily amplified grunting, coming from the direction of Carrow Road, where he was grunting & groaning live.
I thought it was a pun but I put a couple of questions marks as a back-up position.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Rod Stewart, Cali! For services to music, charity etc. If any ageing rock star deserves it, he does - saw him once, one of the best live acts I've seen. He says he'll "wear it well".

Anyways, I hope they'll knight Julie Tippetts - Lady Julia Driscoll?? - - after all, she was a much better singer in that 1965 Steampacket line-up when being a rock singer mattered.
