    Radio Times 1923-2009 Online (searchable)

I have just discovered that the Radio Times for 1923 to 2009 is now available online in a searchable format. It is really rather good.

I'm sure that many here are already aware of this but I thought I would mention it just in case.

I think I probably did know, deep in the dark recesses of my brain, but thank you for this useful reminder. I've just had a pleasant browse.

I haven't looked at this before. I started by picking a random day, and got this.

      What a difference.

The "contributors" were the musicians who performed the music. Hardly a mention of the presenters.

That was when Cormac Rigby was in charge of presentation.

Darn - I've lost my excuse for spending a day or two in London :-(
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
