    A glut of white vans?

I'm doing a bit of travel by rail this week and have been struck by the number of times I've seen a large plot of land filled with white vans of various sizes, apparently all new: literally hundreds of them . Is someone over-producing or is something big about to happen? It reminds me of a poem (by Roger McGough, perhaps?) where he dreams he found a warehouse with 15 million plastic bags.

Yes i have actually given this thought . Could it be that time of the year and indeed the time of this epoc when white vans breed....no no seriously, the time of year which is advantage to buy and sell to get new reg model....also commerce changing over to electric/dual-fuel hybrid....so that there are twice as many -old being sold new being bought etc etc....

On the right lines, 8th. The new registration plates in September is usually the time when commercial fleets will change their vehicles. Dealerships will use nearby fields to store them prior to delivery as their own premises will be unable to hold large numbers.

Hanns Eisler is supposed to have said "people who only know about music don't know about that either", and now I see that the converse is true: people who really know about music know about all kinds of other interesting things as well!

Something I always like to see is an extremely dirty white van on which someone has written "also available in white" in the grime.

Around these parts some Grime artists are trying to clean up its image!

I see Amazon are now making an effort to monopolise the delivery business as well by advertising for non Amazon companies to use them as well....¬/(*]> Growth....
