This Is It - What an Incredible Offer !!

Have just received from Amazon for £11.12p, a book, 2 CDs & a superb DVD, a fantastic occurrence.

" Charpentier - At the Chapel Royal, Versailles " - Jordi Savall.

A most impressive book, a gorgeous publication, plus 2 CDs & a DVD of their performance in the Chapel Royal. As well as full texts in a variety of languages, photographs of everyone & the performance. Singers include John Elwes, Gerard Lesne, Montserrat Figueras & others of repute. Glowing reviews from David Ponsford, Stephen Priest & Juile Anne Sadie.
The quality of the DVD is remarkable, it is an exceptionally well - made film. Sound is excellent & realistic. Several of you may have seen a copy , of sorts, of the film before but this is of much higher quality.

At £11.12p this is an incredibly generous offer, the book itself is to be treasured - a beautiful production.

I shall always remember my 92nd. birthday now just because of this item carrying so much delight.

I hope this may provide others with as much pleasure ( although it is rather sad music ).

Grateful thanks to you, Beef Oven. You were responsible for giving us a sample of this music many months ago.

You might risk getting burnt at the steak for making comments like that!

Finally got round to watching the DVD this evening(avoiding Call the Midwife and suchlike). Superb: music, singing, photography, setting - well everything really.
