Last week I had an unsolicited call from a gentleman with a distinctly Indian accent enquiring as to whether I was getting too many unsolicited calls. I just said goodbye and hung up. No repeat of this new approach yet.

Reminds me of one of the 'Julian and Sandy' sketches in 'Round the Horne', where Kenneth queries how, for a fee, J & S's agency can guarantee his getting no more nuisance calls.

'Easy.' is the answer, 'We'll stop making them!'
