    8th

ff....That must have been (ref Bris RFC) at the time of John Colston, John Blake, David Ellery, John Broad (my uncle), John Pullin, David Rollitt all circa the early 60's....
Long after my dear old dad, but I remember Ellery, Pullin and Rollitt. Broad? No relation to Chris Broad of the other game? A local family with many local connections.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

This match is nuts after just a quarter of an hour!

Is it? I've just looked and England seem to be trailing 7-15

Been too busy to look at matches but well done to Wales for raising the bar high and making the other teams work for their victory (could still be England of course if they throw everything and the kitchen sink at the French - but I reckon Ireland have it)

Well I've only just come in!! England need to get 26 points clear of France - plenty of time, although I'm not sure, with your dual heritage, whether you've now switched sides!!!
(I think I'd better go and watch it or put the radio on!)

....is anyone as grumpy and as ungenerous + any other adjective you care to add - as I am - and cannot stand that person dressed in white top hat and white tails with the England Flag....

Oh I daresay the Welsh will be blamed .... if they hadn't racked up such a big score - wiping out England's lead on points - causing Ireland to score so many they had a bigger target to achieve - and then to cap it all, the wrong French team turned up, you know, the ones who play rugby instead of staging a mutiny and sulking!

I honestly thought England would do it, just 5 mins more ..... Is this the highest scoring Six Nations final ever?
