    TV licences - again!

Here is a list of excuses for not paying your TV licence. http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2014-...g-a-tv-licence

I do wonder if some of them, or similar ones, are actually genuine though. What does happen if you live in a house with a TV, and the person who has paid the licence dies? Are there circumstances where that might actually be what happens?

OK - if your dog - who has paid the licence fee (!!!) owns the TV, and dies, then that's clearly another matter

If the Licence is paid through a bank standing order/direct debit from a joint account, write to the TVLicence authority people explaining the situation(with proof) and they will transfer the existing Licence to your name.

If the Bank Account was solely in the name of the deceased, the survivor(s) will need a new Licence in their own name.

If the Licence was bought with a one-off payment, then I believe that it is valid for the full year - but the renewal obviously has to be bought by the survivors.

They will be laughing when the dog reaches the age to qualify for a free licence.
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

I am not a number, I am a free man.

Must take great control for him to use the mouse without devouring it?

They're all human friends. He doesn't like other cats (or most humans).
